From award-winning custom homes along Scenic Highway 30A to landmark residences throughout New Orleans and beyond, our work reflects a belief that architecture should respond to place, purpose, and the individual.

About us

WHAT WE DO

For decades, Domin Bock Architects has been known for thoughtful design, deep listening, and homes that feel both timeless and deeply personal. With decades of experience, national recognition, and a hands-on, client-first approach, we continue to design homes as unique as the families who inhabit them.

Our work has been featured in leading publications including Veranda, Southern Living, Architecture Magazine, Better Homes & Gardens, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and New Orleans Magazine. Additional features include The Alys Gazette, The St. Joe Company Annual Report, and the Frontgate and Pottery Barn catalogs, as well as several feature films. We are proud recipients of two 2017 Grand Aurora Awards and New Orleans Magazine’s prestigious Home of the Year award.

We have designed homes throughout planned communities along Scenic Highway 30A, including Alys Beach, Rosemary Beach, WaterColor, WaterSound, The Retreat, Heritage Dunes, Gulf Place, and Sandestin. In Louisiana, our work includes hundreds of custom homes across Uptown New Orleans, the Garden District, Old Metairie, the French Quarter, English Turn, Mandeville, Covington, Baton Rouge, and Prairieville.

BUILIDING ON THE LEGACY OF
DOMIN BOCK ARCHITECTS

As of 2026, Domin Bock enters a new chapter as Ron Domin steps into retirement and Doug Bock continues the firm’s work—honoring its history while leading it forward.

We are deeply grateful for Ron Domin’s decades-long career and the legacy he helped establish through thoughtful design, lasting relationships, and a commitment to architecture rooted in place. His influence will continue to shape the firm and the homes we design.

“While this transition marks a meaningful milestone, our approach remains unchanged—our team, our process, and our dedication to well-crafted, enduring architecture. We remain committed to creating homes that reflect the lives and values of the people who live in them.” —Doug Bock
