FONVILLE PARK
he Miles envisioned a home where their family could gather and create lasting memories, choosing a homesite beside the Alys Beach playground where their children had spent countless hours.T
Drawing from their life experiences and love of travel, the home reflects a global sensibility with Moroccan-inspired details and a spirit of relaxed hospitality.
Antique beams anchor the main living space, while thoughtful custom features—like a counterweighted painting that discreetly conceals the television—bring personality and craftsmanship into the design. The kitchen is refined yet approachable, with textured tile, open shelving, and light fixtures imported from Morocco.
Accordion-folding doors open the home to a sun-filled courtyard with a pool, fountain, and covered loggia—described by the family as their favorite place to unwind in summer. The primary suite is filled with natural light, featuring corner windows and a freestanding tub set before a wall of glass, along with a custom-built sauna.
Flexible guest accommodations include bunk space, a TV lounge, and a guest room with a concealed Murphy bed. On the third floor, a speakeasy-style bar and lounge opens to a rooftop terrace with cast stone railings, a shaded arbor, fireplace, and expansive views across town. The home was featured in the Alys Gazette.
